Emancipet Holds Spay/Neuter Clinic At San Marcos Animal Shelter

SAN MARCOS, Texas, April 19, 2012- Emancipet will hold a spay/neuter clinic at the San Marcos Animal Shelter on April 24.
"Emancipet used to set up at the Grant Harris Building," said Kara Montiel, animal shelter supervisor. "Now they are going to be setting up here in our parking lot."
Emancipet provides spay/neuter services in both mobile and stationary clinics throughout the central Texas area. They serve up to 2,000 pets each month.
Emancipet's staff is highly skilled. Their medical protocols surpass the highest standards in veterinary medicine today.
Appointments are required for Emancipet's services and can be booked online at http://www.emancipet.org/spay-neuter/appointment-request-form/.
Cost of spay/neuter services varies depending on the procedure. Price information can be found by visiting http://www.emancipet.org/spay-neuter/lowcost-sn-outside/.
"We figure that if pet owners are coming here to have their pets get spayed or neutered with Emancipet, then they'll know where we are in case they lose their pets or want a new one," said Montiel.
The San Marcos Animal Shelter is located at 750 River Road, San Marcos, TX 78666.
The San Marcos Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that serves Hays County, city of Kyle and city of San Marcos. The shelter promotes the rescuing, sheltering and adopting of animals.
